Angelo Vico is a visual artist and director whose work lies at the intersection of cinema, fashion, and contemporary art.
Following a early career in the film industry—working within the directing department for production companies such as Netflix, Universal Studios, and Movistar+—Vico’s artistic practice evolved toward a critical and radical questioning of human appearance, power structures, and the loss of identity in contemporary society.
Angelo entered the international fashion industry directing his own visual projects and collaborating with prominent brands and publishers, including Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Condé Nast. He leverages his experience in luxury advertising to reconfigure visual codes, transforming his films into spaces of intimacy and experimentation in order to restore the depth and soul he believes contemporary imagery has lost.
Through his audiovisual work, he has also collaborated with prestigious institutions and spaces, including Marlborough Gallery and Bernal Gallery.
